For personal data protection for the purposes of selection and recruitment of staff

The security of your personal data is very important to us.

The personal data you provide during the application process will be processed by SOT 161 and used only for the purposes of selection and recruitment of staff.

Transferring your data to external contractors, which in some cases support the selection process, will only be made after careful selection and commitment.

If your application is not approved, your data will be erased after the end of the application process. As a rule, this takes place 3 months after your application has been declined.

Your personal data contained in your CV, including contact details, education, professional background and additional information provided at your discretion, will be processed for the purposes of selection of staff under Article 6, Paragraph 1 (b), second suggestion of the Regulation (EC) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the Regulation).

Providing personal data is voluntary with a declaration (a template) as a necessary condition for participation in the selection process.

According to the Regulation, you have the right to freely access, to rectify, to erase or to restrict the processing or the right to object to the processing.

You have the right to data portability, that is, to require the data to be provided in a commonly used and machine-readable format both to you and to a designated person or organisation.

If you have questions concerning the processing of your personal data or in case you wish to file a report or complaint, you may do so in writing using the contact details below or by email to the Data Protection Officer.

You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Commission for Personal Data Protection at: 2 Prof. Tzvetan Lazarov Blvd., 1592 Sofia, or electronically to the specified e-mail address or using the electronic complaint form on the Commission’s website https://www.cpdp.bg.
