- What is the price of the alarm and security system?
The best way to get full and competent information about the price of the system and about its exploitation parameters is to look in section Subscriber fees. You can call our office - 32G, “Cherni vrah” Blvd. (tel. 91 983). We shall organize a meeting with the “Security Systems” Manager who will visit you at the site, he will prepare the offer and will inform you about all details you need to know about the services offered by “SOT” Ltd.
The visit is free of charge and will take place when it is convenient for you.
- Is it mandatory to install bars on the site in order to become a client of “SOT” Ltd?
The goal of additional physical strengthening is to help you protect your property from illegal penetration until the car patrol of “SOT” Ltd comes and it is recommendable but not mandatory.
During your meeting with the Security Systems Manager you will get an offer for the configuration of the alarm and security system needed and you will receive a list of recommendations for additional physical securing of the site in case this is necessary.
- How is the status and the condition of the site controlled?
The “SOT” Ltd Coordination center has at its disposal specialized software allowing it to monitor the site according to the specific requirements of the client and under additional conditions. A site check can be conducted even in the case when the security system has been switched off, when the event is not within the working time defined by the customer. An SMS message is sent to the provided mobile phone number for each switching on and / or switching off of the security system. In this way the owner can be sure that the alarm system is switched on and that the site is under surveillance.
The message about the alarm system being switched on and/or off may be used by the employers for control of the working time of their staff.
- How is the reaction time recorded?
The reaction time is recorded by the operator on duty after he has received a radio message from the patrol who has arrived at the site. The route of the car patrol is registered by a GPS system and the data including the time of arrival at the site is recorded on an electronic card. In case of an incident the customer receives a print-out in order to be able to check the actions of the car patrol.
- How is compensation paid in case the contract includes a provision for responsibility for the property?
When signing the contract with the provision for property responsibility, the customer attaches a self prepared list of the property. In case of a violation the property is revised jointly by the Contractor and the Contracting parties to the contract. The damages and the amount of the compensation are determined with a protocol signed by both parties.
Please note that property responsibility taken by SOT Ltd does not constitute an insurance.
“SOT” Ltd does not take responsibility in case of missing money, precious metals, precious stones and works of art.
- How is the system’s monthly technical check performed?
The transmitter installed at the site sends non-stop signals to the Operational center, 24 hours a day. Thus we receive information about the proper functioning of the system. However, it is very important that the client ensures monthly checks of the system.
For this purpose it is necessary to do the following:
Step 1: Before the test starts, you inform the Operator on duty (tel. 91 161) about you intent and you have to provide the registration number of your contract
Step 2: Switch on the alarm system, in this way you connect it to the centralized security system
Step 3: Trespass one of the guarded zones and wait for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Switch off the system and call 91 161, to convince yourself that the system functions properly.
DO NOT FORGET TO INFORM THE OPERATIONAL CENTER (TEL. 91 161) PRIOR TO UNDERTAKING THE ABOVE MENTIONED STEPS
- What documents do I have to present at the time of the signing of the final contract?
After the site has been added to our security services you have 5 (five) working days to visit one of our offices and to sign the final contract.
In case the contract is signed between a physical person and “SOT” Ltd, it is necessary to bring your identity card. If you cannot be present personally, please, prepare a power of attorney for the person who is going to represent you (notary certification is not mandatory) declaring that this person is authorized to represent you before “SOT” Ltd for the signing of the contract.
In case the contract is going to be signed between a legal entity and “SOT” Ltd, it is necessary to bring the following documents:
- the court ruling on the company registration
- copy of the card with the identification number or the company’s BULSTAT number
- company stamp
- in case the owner, the manager or the legal representative cannot be personally present at the signing of the final contract, please prepare a power of attorney for the person who is going to represent you (notary certification is not mandatory), declaring that this person is authorized to represent you before “SOT” Ltd for the signing of the contract.
